Minors logos
Initially, each minor had a different look and different materials. I created logos that were distinct for each minor, but were cohesive with each other and with the center's logo, evoking the petals and colors.
Logos
Starting with the SPIRE logo (which I did not design), I created a brand identity that extends the parallelogram shapes, rearranging them to suggest stained glass, an open book, and the petals of the Center for Social Concerns logo.
The logo suggests ideas of spirals/cycles/layers reflecting the complexity of poverty. It uses brushstroke-style shapes which create circular movement and indicate a human element. To visually rhyme with the Center for Social Concerns logo, the shapes are arranged to create an impression of the leaf shape.Â
